So before getting pregnant I had gotten down to my lowest weight in years...220. I know this doesnt seem low to most but I was proud and felt great. Then I got knocked up and gained 40lbs....which never came off. The past year I have been hovering in the 260's. I have been heavier then this before...I once tipped the scales at 310, but that was 9 years ago and I will NEVER go back there again. Now 260 feels like I am carrying an elephant around. My back hurts, my legs hurt...I just feel BLAH. So I started Weight watchers again! I used to go to the meetings and chart online before getting pregnant and I contribute me getting down to 220 to them. The points system was super easy to follow, it encouraged me to eat more fruits and veggies (0 points!) and the in person meetings were a great motivator for me (do I lose adult points if I say the true motivator was the stickers?). So monday I paid my 80-something bucks for 8 weeks and stepped on the scale. I weighed in at 258....which made me happy because at least it was under 260.
I have been charting what I eat. I am also trying plexus slim (just a 7 day trial), to see if it makes me feel any more alert. I have an issue with being tired all the time, even post coffee. Makes it harder that I work a desk job. So far I dont notice MUCH of a difference on the plexus. I think I might step it up to two a day. One in the morning and one at lunch.
Anyways...weigh in is next monday, I will let you know how it goes. GO ME!
