Weight Watchers

So before getting pregnant I had gotten down to my lowest weight in years...220. I know this doesnt seem low to most but I was proud and felt great. Then I got knocked up and gained 40lbs....which never came off. The past year I have been hovering in the 260's. I have been heavier then this before...I once tipped the scales at 310, but that was 9 years ago and I will NEVER go back there again. Now 260 feels like I am carrying an elephant around. My back hurts, my legs hurt...I just feel BLAH. So I started Weight watchers again! I used to go to the meetings and chart online before getting pregnant and I contribute me getting down to 220 to them. The points system was super easy to follow, it encouraged me to eat more fruits and veggies (0 points!) and the in person meetings were a great motivator for me (do I lose adult points if I say the true motivator was the stickers?). So monday I paid my 80-something bucks for 8 weeks and stepped on the scale. I weighed in at 258....which made me happy because at least it was under 260.

I have been charting what I eat. I am also trying plexus slim (just a 7 day trial), to see if it makes me feel any more alert. I have an issue with being tired all the time, even post coffee. Makes it harder that I work a desk job. So far I dont notice MUCH of a difference on the plexus. I think I might step it up to two a day. One in the morning and one at lunch.

Anyways...weigh in is next monday, I will let you know how it goes. GO ME!

Pro Tip

When changing a really poopy diaper of a really squirmy toddler always have the wipes laid out and ready to grab. In those few precious seconds it takes to reach and tug a wipe out he's already smeared it all over himself and running buck naked for the door.

That is all.

13 months

Yes, yes. So I missed 12 months....Single mom and all. ONTO THE PICTURES!

1st Bday mustache bash!

He LOVED his smash cake
He shared with me :)

L to R: Mom, C, Moi, Grandma

And C today:

Stats:
Not sure yet...I will update this tomorrow, after his appt.
Height 29in
Wt: 16.10lbs
Clothes: 6-9
Diapers: Size 3

He is walking and talking! He loves picking up and arranging all the heavy stuff in my house.
Words:
Hi
Hot
Drink
Binkie
Wyatt
Bite

He IS NOT a morning person. There is a "transition" period in which is his feet touch the ground not of his own volition then screeching ensues. There is a delicate dance of nursing and cuddling combined with some.."ooh look at this toy" or "yo gabba gabba!"  which eventually causes him to slink forth from the warm protective bubble which is mom and venture out into the big world alone....or maybe just the living room...either way. Then mom can finally make coffee.

Now in his own bedroom he sleeps like a champ. Goes to bed at 8, wakes up at 6-ish. Takes about 2-3 naps a day...usually at 9, 1 and sometimes 4.

Eats everything...and feeds a lot to the dog too.

I LOVE LOVE the relationship these two have.

Abolish Nail Polish

I am a single mommy, I have worked at the same job for almost 8 years now but im just not making enough to be comfortable.

Then last month I was introduced to JAMBERRY Nails. I feel in love! What better for a mommy short on time and hands who still wants to feel pretty but doesnt want to repaint her nails every other day and have a grabby little man dump polish everywhere.

Jamberry nails are a nail sheild you heat and stick onto your nails. They say they last 2 weeks, but I have been sporting these stache's for a month now!

They have over 200 styles and the nail art studio where you can make your own nails! These are a fantastic product run by a family of sisters. I am super enthusiastic about being a consultant.
If you are curious I would love to send you a sample. Visit me on facebook:

11 months

Holy crap. So yeah...I missed 10 months, I will have to go back and make a blog on that.

Christian is now 11 months!

Stats:
Wt- Probably about 18lbs
length- 28 inches?
Diapers- Size 3
Clothes: 6-9 month tops/onsies/footies, 0-3 pants
Loves: Animals, opening and closing doors, cruising.
Words: "Bye bye", "Bah"=Bite, Hiiii, mama, guh guh=?

C has been cruising EVERYWHERE. He is fully able to walk alone but refuses to. He can hold one finger and walk around but let go and he flops on his butt. He has mastered the temper tantrum and now flops himself to the ground in full drama prince style. Terrible twos are going to be fun...

Blueberries!

Melissa and Doug Latches is a huge hit!
