I am so in love. Christian Wyatt Rucklos was born 6/27/2012 at 12:59am via emergency c-section. He was 6lbs 9oz, 19 in. I was in labor for two days with no progression and the contractions were making his pulse slow down so they finally decided to just do a csection. I ended up feeling them cutting into me so they knocked me out, I woke up in recovery and they handed him to me and he latched and breastfed right away.
He is so beautiful. His little almond shaped eyes and sounds he makes.
The csection wound refused to close and I had to have a wound vac put in which i have to carry around everywhere. Thank god my mom is in town. She is so wonderful, she helps me with anything I need and will be here as long as i need her. I am realizing between family, friends, and coworkers I have the most amazing and vast support system. Christian will never lack love in his life.
I look down at this little man I created and I never want to let him go. I love it when he is nestled up against me sleeping all safe and warm. I would do anything to protect him from the bad in this world. At this point everything I do is for him and its all worth it when he looks up at me with those eyes.
